Deseree Noel is a current MFA student. She is an accomplished academic with a love of learning and a love of storytelling.
Andre Bagoo is a poet and writer from Trinidad, the author of several books of poetry including Trick Vessels (2012), BURN (Shearsman, 2015) and Pitch Lake (Peepal Tree Press, 2017). His poetry has appeared in journals such as Boston Review, Cincinnati Review, St Petersburg Review, PN Review, POETRY, and The Poetry Review. He was awarded The Charlotte and Isidor Paiewonsky Prize in 2017. His essay collection, The Undiscovered Country, was published by Peepal Tree Press in 2020 and won the 2021 OCM Bocas Prize for Non-Fiction. His fiction debut, The Dreaming, is forthcoming from Peepal Tree.
Dominique Friday is an highly passionate artist and arts educator with a burning desire to activate purpose in communities through artistic expression. She is a core artist at The 2 Cents Movement in Trinidad.
Stacy Lela is an MFA student who is coming to the end of her programme. She is an educator, with roots in the theatre and is an avid writer.
Travis Weekes is an award-winning Saint Lucian poet, playwright and director. He is a Lecturer in Theatre at the Department of Creative and Festival Arts of the University of the West Indies, Saint Augustine. His publications include “ Two Plays: The Fight for Belle Vue and The Field of Power”, “ Bodies, Memories and Spirits” Discourse on Selected Cultural Forms and Practices in Saint Lucia ” and a collection of poems, “Let There be Jazz”.
